Hyperblack's 10,000 sf commercial and product photography studio offers two spacious stages in downtown Los Angeles designed to accommodate large production campaign shoots, an ecommerce photo shoot and everything in between. 

Whether you're creating clean catalog product photos or dynamic lifestyle images, our studio is built to deliver consistent, high-quality visuals.

We provide all the amenities needed to execute an efficient (and fun!) shoot for your ecommerce product photography or marketing campaigns. Each photography studio rental includes a basic grip package as well as dedicated parking.

In addition, Hyperblack’s experienced on-site staff and product photographers are available to help produce and facilitate all the unique production needs you have to make your shoot exceptional.

STAGE I: Cove Cyclorama Product Photography Studio

Stage I is best for shoots that utilize a cove cyclorama for a flawlessly clean backdrop.

STAGE I FEATURES:

  • A spacious, minimalistic interior with a high ceiling featuring wooden beams, white walls, and bright lighting. It contains a few pieces of furniture including a black sofa, several chairs, a wooden dining table, and some small tables.

Stage II is best suited for shoots that require a large set-build or extra open space.

STAGE II FEATURES:

  • A spacious, minimalistic room with white walls, concrete floors, and exposed wooden beams on the ceiling. It includes a black leather sofa, a flat-screen TV on a stand, a small table with chairs, a makeup mirror with lights, and a small table with stacked chairs in the corner.

Flats Stage: Off-Model Product Photography Studio

Our dedicated flat stage is fully equipped to handle your off-model photography.

With 3 flats sets shooting simultaneously, our in-house staff have the expertise to take your product from prep through post-production, and you won’t have to lift a finger. Whether you’re shooting ghost mannequin photography, flat lay photography or table top, our professional product photography services are unmatched in speed and quality.

FAQs | Product Photography Studio Los Angeles

  • Hyperblack Studios operates a 10,000 square-foot space in downtown Los Angeles that consists of three (3) production stages. Two large stages are available for rent for creative, on-model and video production and a third product-focused flat stage boasts multiple shooting spaces for off-figure ecommerce production.

  • Being a full-service creative content studio means offering full-service amenities!

    In addition to access to our on-site staff for any of your creative or production requirements, our photo studio space offers everything you need for your next shoot. When you rent a studio, expect fully-stocked mini-fridges, 65” Apple TV-ready screens, Sonos sound systems, double-wide hair & makeup stations, seating areas, 24’ foot ceilings, conference tables, and seating areas. Additionally, our 1600 sq ft Stage I studio features a 24’x24’ Cove Cyclorama wall.

  • If you are shooting in Stage I or II, yes! We encourage our clients to attend on-model and creative commercial shoots, as we love to collaborate with you!

    We are also happy to mix our teams–if you want to bring your own hair and makeup or your models, that’s fine with us! If you prefer that we handle everything, we can do that as well.

    If we’re shooting off-figure products in the flat stage, we do not invite our clients to attend these shoots. Since these are standard product shots, we will follow your style guidelines and can send you test shots if you’d like to approve.

  • Yes if you are shooting in Stage I or II. Each of these stages is equipped for up to 20 people on-set.

  • Nope! We work with a wide variety of well-known national and global brands.

  • Yes, we offer day rentals for you to use and staff with your own team. You can still enjoy the same access to our amenities and on-site staff should you need the additional support, too.

  • You can find us in the industrial flats of Boyle Heights, located in downtown Los Angeles, California. We also have a location on Goose Island in Chicago. Contact us here to arrange an appointment or give us a call.
